Located at 111 Main Street in Downtown Parkville, our shop is a western & coastal inspired space in the heart of the midwest.
At first, Larkin might look like a collection of clothing, gifts, things for your home and pieces you can make your own.
But spend a little time here and you'll start to notice that almost everything has a story.
Walk through the front door and you'll find a space filled with pieces of the people and places that shaped Larkin.
The saddle in the front window belonged to our founder Aubrey's dad. It sits on an old sewing machine stand, a nod to the custom embroidery you'll find in the shop and to the years Aubrey and her mom have spent sewing together.
Look up as you walk in and you'll see the Larkin sign hanging outside. It was handmade by one of her mom's lifelong friends.
Keep wandering.
On the shelves are candles from a Nashville brand Aubrey discovered while living there. Nearby, photographs of the beach are tucked into cowhide frames, a little piece of another place she once called home.
You'll find cards designed by her best friend. Dog scarves handmade by a childhood neighbor and embroidered right here at Larkin. Frames made by her dad. And if you look closely at the people modeling the clothes online, you might even recognize one of her oldest friends.

Then there are the three horses.
A friend once pointed out that they reminded her of Aubrey, her sister and their mom. Now the photograph hangs in the store, another small detail that means much more than you might realize when you first walk past it.
That's kind of the point of Larkin.
Nothing here is meant to feel too perfect. It's meant to feel personal. Collected. Like how a house becomes a home, one piece and one story at a time.
Leave home. Go somewhere new. Meet people. Collect stories. Change a little. Miss things you never thought you'd miss.
And eventually, find your way home again.
So take your time while you're here. Look around. Ask us about something on the shelf. Have something embroidered. Find a piece that reminds you of somewhere you've been or someone you love.

Welcome to Larkin.
We're glad you found your way here.
